Orbit remembers the people you talk to and what your writing does.
Ask who’s waiting on a reply, which readers you’re overlooking, and what’s actually working in your Notes.
“Who’s waiting on a reply from me?”
Find the comments, restacks, and DMs you haven’t answered, with links straight to the conversations. DMs are included if you turned them on.
“Who should I talk to today?”
Your Daily Five: people to stay close to, conversations to continue, and someone new to meet. Each with a reason.
“Which subscribers am I overlooking?”
Find readers who keep showing up for your work, even if you haven’t gotten to know them yet.
“What’s actually working on my Substack?”
Ask ChatGPT about your Notes, articles, subscribers, and what’s driving growth. Go beyond the numbers with follow-up questions.
“Where did I say that thing about burnout?”
Search your Notes, comments, and replies to find the exact thing you said, with a link back to it.
“Who have I lost touch with?”
Find people you haven’t talked to in a while, and pick up where you left off without maintaining a spreadsheet.
Subscribe on Substack, install the Orbit extension, and sign in. No CSVs to import or API keys to manage.
Your Substack login stays on your computer. Orbit never sees your password.
While you read Notes, comments and your inbox, the extension saves who you talk to, what you talked about, and what each Note and post did for your newsletter. Direct messages are included only if you turn them on.
Add Orbit for Substack from ChatGPT’s plugin directory, and sign in. See the steps ↓
ChatGPT reads your orbit and answers with names, reasons and links. When you ask, it can also tag people, save private notes, and clear replies from your queue. It never posts or sends anything on Substack.
You need an Orbit account and the Orbit Chrome extension, signed in, so Orbit has something to read.
Server URLhttps://seeyourorbit.com/api/mcp
Another AI app that supports remote MCP connectors with OAuth works the same way: add the server URL and sign in.
Your people and your conversations with them, your notes and essays and their stats, your subscribers, the writers you follow, your private notes and tags, and your direct messages if you turned them on.
Every change stays inside your Orbit account. Nothing is posted, sent, or shown to anyone else. The connector makes a change only when you ask for it or agree to it.
You shouldn’t have to remember every person, conversation, and follow-up on your own.
