# Orbit

> Orbit is a relationship dashboard for Substack writers. It remembers everyone you talk to - who's new, who's drifting, who you can turn to - and shows what your notes and essays actually do. It reads and remembers; it never writes for you.

Orbit is a Chrome extension plus web app for Substack writers who build through conversation. It reads your Substack in your own browser, using the session you're already logged into, and keeps a private, searchable memory of your conversations and the people in them. Your Substack login never leaves your computer; Orbit never sees your password or your subscribers' email addresses. It is an independent product, not affiliated with Substack.

What it is for: noticing and understanding your relationships and your writing - who's new and just discovering you, who's drifting quiet, who's worth pulling closer, and which notes and essays actually reached people or brought subscribers. It is a research and noticing layer, not a ghostwriter: it never drafts posts, comments, or replies.

Price and access (as of October 2026): $12/month or $120/year, included with a paid subscription to Rebecca Spitzer's Substack. There is no free plan or free trial. It works in Chrome, Edge, or Brave on a computer; it does not work on a phone.
